Or as I like to call it, the final “Introducing Wonder Woman” trailer. I’m simultaneously really excited about this movie and really afraid it will suck. I want it to be a great lead-in for Wonder Woman’s solo film coming next year. I want the studio execs to see, in the only language they really understand, that a female lead superhero can be and do everything the boys can do. With a few notable exceptions, women in comics (writers, artists, protagonists and fans) have been invisible for far too long. Here’s hoping this movie is the first step in partially rectifying that.
